Peanut Processing Plant

Peanut Processing Plant

A peanut processing plant is a bunch of machinery, where raw peanuts are transformed into various peanut-based products for utilization. The process typically involves several stages, including cleaning, shelling, and grading. Here’s a brief overview of each stage:

Peanut Cleaning: Raw peanuts are received from farms and are subjected to cleaning processes to remove any dust, rocks, stones, and sticks.

Shelling: Peanuts are shelled to separate the nuts from their outer shells. This can be done using various methods using a de-shelling (decorticator) machine.

Separation: It will separate sprouted seeds, husks, unshelled peanuts, damaged & low-weight seeds, and cracked seeds.

Sorting: It will remove any other color seeds like black, white, etc.

Grading (With counting): It will separate finished goods into different sizes.

Peanut Processing Plant may vary in size and complexity, and some facilities may specialize in specific products. The overall goal is to transform raw peanuts into a variety of consumer-ready products while maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the processing stages.
