What Is a Screen Grader?
A Screen Grader is a vibrating screen machine built to sort grain, seed or similar bulk material into separate size fractions, so a mixed, as-harvested lot is split into clean, uniform grades ready for sale, sowing or further processing. Material is fed onto the top screen deck, and as the machine vibrates, undersized particles fall through each perforation while oversized particles travel along the screen surface to their own discharge outlet. Because each deck can carry a different mesh size, this Grader Machine, often built with two, three or four decks as a Vibratory Screen Grader, produces several distinct size grades from a single pass instead of needing a separate machine for each cut.
