What Is a Peanut Pre Cleaner Machine?
A Peanut Pre Cleaner Machine is a cleaning machine placed at the very start of the line to remove the bulk of the trash that arrives with harvested peanuts. Product is fed onto a vibrating sieve, where large material such as vines, stalks and lumps is carried off the top, while fine soil and sand fall through a second sieve. An air stream then lifts away light material such as leaves, husk and dust. What remains is a much cleaner crop that dries faster, stores better and runs through shelling, destoning and grading machines with less wear.
The same principle applies to other crops.
