Ducting Line
A heavy duty Ducting Line and Air Ducting System engineered to capture dust and light trash at every machine in a grain, seed or peanut plant and carry it safely to the collector, keeping the air clean and the line running.
Ducting Line & Air Ducting System Overview
Swastik Technology’s Ducting Line is the network of pipework, bends, dampers and supports that carries dust-laden air away from cleaning, grading and handling machines to a cyclone or filter, so the dust never settles on the plant floor or in the product. Designed as an Industrial Ducting Line for flour mills, seed plants and groundnut processors, each Air Ducting System is laid out around the actual machines, the distances between them and the amount of air each one needs. As a Ducting Line Manufacturer, Ducting Line Supplier and Ducting Line Exporter, Swastik Technology builds the duct sections, hoods and fittings in its own workshop and prepares sections that are numbered and packed to travel for overseas projects. Whether a plant needs a single Ducting System for one machine or a full Industrial Ducting System serving a complete cleaning line, size, routing and fan capacity are selected for the crop and the dust it produces. It is designed to work beside our Destoner Machine and Peanut Pre Cleaner Machine on a complete line.
What Is an Air Ducting System?
An Air Ducting System is a set of connected ducts through which a fan pulls air, so that dust, husk and light trash released by a machine are drawn into a hood, carried along the pipe and delivered to a separator. Along the way, bends guide the air, dampers balance the flow between branches, and access doors let the pipe be cleaned out. At the end of the line, a cyclone or bag filter separates the dust from the air, and the cleaned air is released while the collected material is discharged for disposal.
In practice the same installation is described in different ways. When the focus is on the plant floor it is called Dust Collection Ducting, and when the focus is on pulling dust at the source it is called Dust Extraction Ducting. Whatever name is used, the job is the same: remove dust where it is created, before it spreads. A well planned Ducting Line protects people, because airborne grain dust is a health and fire risk, and it protects the machines and the product at the same time.
How Does a Ducting Line Work?
Capture
Hoods fitted at dusty points on each machine draw in dust and light trash as it is released.
Transport
A fan pulls air through the ducts at a speed that keeps dust moving instead of settling in the pipe.
Balancing
Dampers on each branch share the airflow so every machine gets the suction it needs.
Separation
A cyclone or filter at the end of the line separates the dust from the air.
Discharge
Cleaned air leaves through the fan outlet and the collected dust is discharged for disposal.
Key Features of Our Air Ducting System
Applications of the Air Ducting System
Flour Mills & Rice Mills
Carries dust from cleaners, polishers and bagging points to the collector.
Groundnut & Peanut Processing
Removes dust, soil and shell fragments from pre cleaners, shellers and graders.
Seed Companies & Multiplication Farms
Extracts dust from seed cleaning and grading lines to keep lots clean.
Oil Mills & Crushing Plants
Handles dust at intake, cleaning and crushing stages.
Spice & Food Processing
Keeps fine dust out of grinding and packing areas.
Grain Storage & Silos
Draws dust from intake pits, elevators and conveyor transfer points.
